Victoria Beckham has finally opened up again about the affair rumors that rocked her marriage to David Beckham more than 20 years ago.
Back in 2004, headlines claimed that David, who was then playing for Real Madrid, had an affair with his former assistant, Rebecca Loos. The Dutch model alleged that she and the football star were romantically involved for several months. David, however, has always denied the accusations.
In his 2023 Netflix documentary Beckham, he admitted that the rumors caused a painful chapter in their marriage, describing it as one of the toughest times of their lives.
Now, in a new interview on Alex Cooper’s podcast Call Her Daddy, Victoria reflected on how they managed to survive the public scrutiny and constant speculation.
> “We’ve had so much thrown at us, but we’ve always stood by each other and just ridden the damn storm,” she said.
Victoria shared that the period following the alleged affair was one of the hardest in their relationship, saying it felt like “the whole world was against us.” But she also believes the experience ultimately made their bond stronger.
Despite the resurfaced rumors and some reported tension within the Beckham family — including their strained relationship with eldest son Brooklyn — the couple remains united.
David and Victoria Beckham have been married since 1999 and share four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
Even after all the challenges, the pair continues to prove that love — and loyalty — can outlast even the biggest storms.
