Taylor Swift may have wrapped up her monumental “Eras Tour,” but the experience is far from over for fans. On Thursday, the singer released the first trailer for her upcoming Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era, giving Swifties a deeper look into the global phenomenon that dominated stages for more than a year.
The trailer opens with intimate behind-the-scenes footage from the tour, paired with Swift reflecting on the whirlwind surrounding her. “There are mysterious forces at work that I’ll never fully understand,” she remarks, hinting at the unpredictable yet powerful nature of the era she created.
Swift also talks about the tour’s impact, emphasizing the emotional connection it fostered. “This show brought together around 70,000 people at a time, and there’s nothing quite like watching that bond form,” she says.
The six-episode series goes beyond the stage, offering glimpses into the singer’s life during the tour. Fans even get a peek at her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end — and now fiancé — Travis Kelce. In the trailer, Swift’s mother, Andrea, notes that Kelce “brings a lot of happiness,” and the couple is seen sharing a sweet moment on camera.
Guest performers who joined Swift throughout the tour — including Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch — also make appearances in the previews.
Disney+ will release the first two episodes on December 12, just one day before Swift celebrates her 36th birthday. That same day, fans will also be treated to Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The Final Show, adding even more to the Swift-filled week.
With the tour wrapped and the documentary on the way, Swifties still have plenty to look forward to as a new chapter begins.
