T-Mobile to Start Charging $3/Month for Apple TV “On Us” Perk

Another popular T-Mobile freebie is coming to an end. Starting January 1, 2026, T-Mobile customers who currently enjoy the Apple TV+ “On Us” perk will have to pay $3 per month to keep it.

The Apple TV+ benefit has been included with many of T-Mobile’s premium plans since 2021, but recent updates on customers’ account pages — followed by official text messages from T-Mobile — confirm the upcoming change. The new $3 charge reflects the difference between T-Mobile’s $9.99/mo credit and Apple’s updated Apple TV+ price of $12.99/mo, which Apple raised earlier this year.

Customers who pay for Apple TV+ through T-Mobile without the “On Us” perk will also see their price rise from $9.99 to $12.99 per month, matching Apple’s direct pricing.

What surprises many users is that T-Mobile isn’t absorbing the price increase, especially since other perks like Netflix have remained fully covered even after multiple price hikes.

If you don’t want to pay the new $3 monthly fee, T-Mobile says you can remove the Apple TV+ add-on from your account before the end of 2025.
