Grammy-winning bluegrass star Billy Strings is extending his headline tour further into 2026, announcing new summer dates across the U.S., including a highly anticipated performance at the Berglund Center in Roanoke on July 14.
The extended tour will see Strings return to major arenas and outdoor venues across the Northeast and Midwest, with new shows confirmed in Boston, Portland (two nights), Hartford, Bethel (two nights), and Ionia (two nights). The announcement comes amidst overwhelming demand, with several spring performances already sold out.
Tickets for most of the newly announced shows will be available through the artist pre-sale starting Wednesday, January 28, at 10 AM local time, followed by general on-sale beginning Friday, January 30, at 10 AM local time. Tickets for the Ionia, Michigan performances will go on sale separately on February 13. Fans can register for pre-sale access at billystrings.com/tour.
The Roanoke performance adds another dimension to an already busy year for Strings, who continues to dominate the modern bluegrass scene. His latest album, Highway Prayers, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart across all genres and is nominated for Best Bluegrass Album at the upcoming 68th Grammy Awards.
A two-time Grammy winner, Strings has also been honored four times as “Entertainer of the Year” by the International Bluegrass Music Association, most recently in 2025—further solidifying his reputation as one of the genre’s most influential live performers. In addition to the Roanoke date, this tour includes two more performances in Virginia: Charlottesville (April 17-18) and Portsmouth (July 17-18), giving fans multiple opportunities to see this acclaimed guitarist and his band live this year.
With sold-out arenas, extended summer dates, and continued critical acclaim, Billy Strings’ 2026 tour is shaping up to be one of the most in-demand live music events of the year.
