Apple and ISSEY MIYAKE have joined forces to release a new accessory called the iPhone Pocket, a stylish and wearable pouch designed to hold any iPhone along with a few small essentials. The piece is crafted from a single 3D-knitted textile, drawing on ISSEY MIYAKE’s well-known pleated designs. The fabric naturally stretches to fit what’s placed inside, while its open-knit pattern gives just a hint of what’s being carried.
The iPhone Pocket can be worn in different ways — carried on its own, attached to a bag, or worn across the body. It’s available in two strap options. The short strap version comes in eight colors, including lemon, purple, pink, and black, while the long strap version is offered in three colors. The range is designed so users can mix and match tones to pair with their iPhone.
This limited-edition accessory will be available starting November 14 at select Apple Store locations and on apple.com in several regions such as the U.S., UK, Japan, and France. The short strap model is priced at $149.95, and the long strap version is $229.95.
