Fans have finally gotten their first glimpse of Sophie Turner as the legendary adventurer Lara Croft. Prime Video has released the first image from their upcoming Tomb Raider reboot series, and the ‘Game of Thrones’ star looks ready to take on the iconic role.
The newly released image shows Turner in Croft’s signature attire, complete with black shorts, tinted sunglasses, and her classic dual pistols. The look stays true to the character’s original appearance while also giving it a nice, modern twist. Amazon MGM Studios has also confirmed that production on the first season has officially begun.
The series is being spearheaded by ‘Fleabag’ creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who is serving as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. The cast includes several notable actors, including big names like Sigourney Weaver and Jason Isaacs.
