Kim Kardashian is setting the record straight about one of the biggest misconceptions surrounding her and ex-husband Kanye West (Ye) — their approach to co-parenting their four children.

In a candid conversation on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper, the 44-year-old reality star and entrepreneur opened up about what life is really like raising kids with the rapper and why she refuses to feed into the negative “narrative” online.

“I’ve Never Kept the Kids From Him”

Kardashian — who shares North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6) with Ye — said the idea that she prevents her children from seeing their father couldn’t be further from the truth.

> “It’s not easy, but I raise the kids full-time,” Kim said. “They live with me, but I always encourage a healthy relationship between them and their dad. I’ve never once stopped that from happening.”

She explained that while Ye’s schedule and lifestyle often take him around the world — from Saudi Arabia to Japan — she never denies the kids a chance to spend time with him.

> “Whenever he calls for them, I make it happen,” she continued. “It’s been a couple of months since we’ve heard from him, but that’s just the life he’s always lived — traveling, touring, being everywhere at once. We make it work.”

Why Kim Chooses Silence Over Social Media Drama

Despite Ye’s history of taking public digs at her on social media, Kim says she chooses not to respond — for the sake of her children.

> “There have been so many times I’ve wanted to post screenshots and say, ‘Here’s what really happened,’” she admitted. “But what’s the point? My kids will see that one day. I want to protect them from all that.”

Kim added that she learned from her parents’ example — never speaking badly about the other in front of their kids — and wants to model the same behavior.

> “The last thing my kids need is to hear negativity about their dad coming from me,” she said. “No matter what’s out there, I’ll always talk positively about him.”

On Why the Marriage Ended

Kim also reflected on the reasons behind her split from Kanye, citing emotional instability and a lack of security.

> “It wasn’t even about physical safety — it was emotional and financial,” she revealed. “There were days I’d come home and all our cars were gone. He’d just give them away. You never knew what to expect.”

The uncertainty, she explained, became too much to handle. “Lack of stability was a big reason,” she said softly.

Staying Strong for Her Kids

These days, Kim focuses on maintaining peace and consistency for her children.

> “My kids love their life, their routine, their school,” she said. “My job as their mom is to keep that going and make sure they’re happy and healthy.”

And while moving forward hasn’t been easy, she admits her kids often encourage her to embrace the next chapter.

> “North told me, ‘Mom, it’s okay to move on. You need to have a boyfriend now,’” Kim shared with a laugh. “I told her, ‘I’m not crying upstairs — I’m just getting a massage!’”

A Lesson in Grace and Resilience

Through all the public drama, Kim Kardashian continues to take the high road — choosing peace over pettiness.

> “There’s no point in fighting online,” she said. “One day my kids will be grown, and they’ll see everything for themselves. Until then, I just focus on love and being the best mom I can be.”
