California’s biggest country music festival is gearing up for its return next spring, and this year’s lineup comes with a surprising twist. Stagecoach 2026 will feature headlining sets from Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Post Malone, but the bill doesn’t stop there.
Mixed in with the country stars are a handful of Bay Area favorites that bring a wave of nostalgia. Journey, the rock legends behind “Don’t Stop Believin’,” will share the stage with Third Eye Blind, known for “Semi Charmed Life,” and Counting Crows, the group that gave the world “Mr. Jones.” All three acts got their start in the San Francisco Bay Area, making their addition a nod to California’s own music history.
The festival is also tapping into other throwback sounds. Hootie & the Blowfish, Brooks & Dunn, and Bush are on the roster, while the Mustang Stage will once again keep the energy alive after dark with sets from Diplo, Pitbull, and Ludacris.
Stagecoach will take place April 24–26, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the same desert venue that hosts Coachella. Organized by Goldenvoice, the three-day event comes one week after Coachella’s second weekend and marks Stagecoach’s 18th year.
With a lineup that blends Nashville grit, Bay Area rock staples, and late-night dance beats, Stagecoach 2026 is shaping up to be a festival where just about every kind of music fan can find something to love.
